2012 AAPS Annual Meeting and Exposition

*This conference has ended.*

We will make a presentation on the latest research results for evaluating drugs using our taste sensors at the 2012 AAPS Annual Meeting, which will take place in Chicago, Illinois, USA. In the study, we evaluated the bitterness of different types of orally disintegrating tables (ODTs) including quinine hydrochloride by the Taste Sensing System and the ODT tester. The result exhibited good correlation with human sensory scores depending on sampling time, suggesting that the two instruments enable more accurate assessment of the bitterness of ODTs and its bitterness masking effect. In addition, we will showcase the Taste Sensing System at the exposition in conjunction with the 2012 AAPS Annual Meeting. Visit our booth for more info!

Exhibition Date: October 14 to 18
Location: McCormick Place, Chicago, Illinois, USA
Booth: #5108 (Hall F)

Interphex Japan 2012

*This exhibition has ended.*

Asia's largest pharmaceutical exhibition, the 25th Interphex Jpapan, will be held from June 27th at Tokyo Bigsight, Japan. With a co-exhibitor, Higuchi Inc., we will showcase our products, the TS-5000Z Taste Sensing System, a new model gSA501C Taste Sensing System, which is a smaller device designed specially for evaluating the bitterness of drugs, and the OD-mate tester, which mimics oral disintegrating tablets (ODTs) disintegration conditions in the human mouth. Our taste sensing system in combination with the OD-mate tester will provide more accurate bitterness assessments of ODTs and masking effects than human scoring systems!

Exhibition Date: June 27 to 29
